Job Summary
Jovie is seeking compassionate and reliable Sitters to provide exceptional care for children in a nurturing environment in areas such as Friendswood, League City, Deer Park, Galveston County, Pasadena, and Kemah. The ideal candidate will have experience in childcare, including infant care and meal preparation, and possess a strong commitment to the well-being and development of children. This role requires someone who is attentive, organized, and able to create a safe and engaging atmosphere for children of various ages.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and engage children in age-appropriate activities to promote learning and development
• Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating dietary restrictions
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for the children, including tidying up play areas and preparing for daily activities
• Provide basic caregiving tasks such as diaper changes, bathing, and dressing infants or toddlers
• Assist with homework and educational activities for older children
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, needs, and any concerns
• Administer first aid when necessary and ensure the overall health and safety of the children

Experience

• Previous experience in childcare or nannying is required, including working with infants and young children
• Familiarity with first aid procedures is highly desirable
• Experience in daycare settings or similar environments is REQUIRED
• Ability to cook simple meals and prepare snacks for children
• Strong caregiving skills with a focus on creating a positive atmosphere for children’s growth
