Director of Client Partnerships - Motorsports Media & Marketing

In this role, you will build and nurture relationships with motorsports and automotive brands, guiding them in leveraging our digital, social, creator, studio, print, and agency services to achieve their marketing goals. You'll take ownership of the full sales cycle—from prospecting and pitching to closing deals—and work closely with clients to create tailored solutions that align with their business objectives. This position requires a consultative sales approach, with the ability to foster strong, lasting relationships with key decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities
Identify and engage prospective advertisers and partners across our media platforms.
Understand clients' business goals deeply and communicate the unique value we offer.
Develop comprehensive, cross-platform media strategies, integrating our digital presence, premium print content, and influencer-driven campaigns.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed revenue targets.
Collaborate with editorial, content creators, and production teams to create compelling proposals and presentations.
Stay updated on industry trends and the competitive landscape to maintain our position as a leader in motorsports media.
Utilize CRM tools to manage account progress, track forecasts, and ensure consistent communication with clients.
Represent the company at key industry events, trade shows, and meetings to foster relationships and grow the brand.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in advertising or media sales.
5+ years of strategic media sales experience with a proven track record in consultative sales (experience in motorsports is a plus).
Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex media solutions clearly.
Experience in full sales cycle management, including prospecting, cold calling, and closing.
Ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, especially executives and decision-makers.
While we're based in Irvine, CA, we offer flexible remote work options for candidates across the U.S.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the motorsports or automotive industry is a plus.
Strong business acumen with the ability to negotiate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders.
Analytical skills to interpret data and use insights to inform sales strategies.
Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Creative problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to developing unique media opportunities for clients.

Compensation
Competitive salary range of $115k-$135k per year, based on location, experience, and skills.
Significant earning potential through performance-based commissions and bonuses, with the opportunity to earn an additional $43k annually by meeting expectations.
Uncapped earnings for those who exceed expectations.
