We are a leading motorsports media and marketing firm that is expanding its offerings and growing our team. We are seeking a highly motivated, results-driven Director of Client Partnerships to drive revenue growth and foster innovation across our media and marketing solutions.

In this role, you'll build lasting relationships with motorsports and automotive brands, helping them leverage a broad range of media services, including digital, social, creator-driven content, studio production, print, and agency offerings. You'll oversee the entire sales process—from identifying new prospects to closing deals—and collaborate closely with clients to understand their business needs and deliver tailored solutions. A consultative sales approach is key to success in this role, as is the ability to cultivate strong, long-term relationships with decision-makers.

Key Responsibilities:

Identify, qualify, and engage potential advertisers and partners for our media platforms.
Gain a deep understanding of clients' business objectives and communicate the unique value of our media offerings.
Develop and execute cross-platform media strategies, integrating digital presence, premium print content, and influencer-driven initiatives to deliver impactful campaigns.
Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
Collaborate with internal teams, including editorial, content creators, and production, to create compelling presentations and proposals.
Stay informed about industry trends and competitive offerings to ensure our brand remains a leader in motorsports media.
Use CRM tools to track sales progress, forecast revenue, and maintain clear communication with clients.
Represent the brand at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to build brand awareness and foster relationships.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in advertising/media sales.
5+ years of strategic media sales experience, with a proven track record in consultative sales. Familiarity with the motorsports industry is a plus.
Strong ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels, especially executives and decision-makers.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex media solutions.
Proven experience with prospecting, cold calling, and managing the full sales cycle.
While this position is based in Irvine, CA, remote work is available for candidates across the U.S.

Compensation:

The compensation range for this role is between $115k and $135k per year, depending on your experience and location.
There is significant earning potential through performance-based commission and bonuses, with the opportunity to earn up to an additional $43k annually. Exceeding expectations offers unlimited earning potential.
