Washington State University (WSU) invites applications for the position of
Director of Field Services & Certification .
As the
Director of Field Services & Certification , you will direct unit operations for the Office of Field Services and Certification. In this role, you will develop, plan, organize and direct the placement and supervision of student teacher interns statewide and overseas. You will also work collaboratively with constituents both internally and externally in the implementation of policies and procedures related to intern assessment, evaluation, and data gathering. Your duties also include but are not limited to providing feedback and input on legislation and policies with statewide impact, conducting supervisor and mentor teacher training programs, plan and oversee the budget and direct management of student teaching records.
This is a
full Time Position (100
% FTE),
permanent position. Overtime eligibility will be determined based on final salary placement.
Monthly Salary: $5,598.97 - $6,534.38 | Commensurate with experience and qualifications
In accordance with RCW 49.58.110 , the above salary reflects the full salary range for this position. Individual placement within the range is based on the candidate's current experience, education, skills, and abilities related to the position.

Required Qualifications: Positions require a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field and six (6) years of progressively responsible relevant experience, which has included at least three (3) years of managerial experience. Any combination of relevant education and professional experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year-for-year basis. A Master's degree in a related field may be substituted for up to one (1) year of the required experience. Education and experience can be tailored to fit the specific organizational entity/directorial assignment.
Preferred Qualifications: - Master's degree or equivalent.
- Five years of teaching experience with increasingly responsible administrative and supervisory experience involving administration, supervision, assessment and evaluation, budget management, communication and organization.
