Residential Sales Estimator

Position Overview

We are hiring a Residential Sales Estimator to conduct home assessments, develop project scopes, and deliver tailored solutions for homeowners. This role is designed for a licensed Journeyman or Master Electrician with residential experience. While sales experience is preferred, we will provide comprehensive training to help you succeed.

As part of this role, you'll work with customers in Metro-West, Billerica, and surrounding areas.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct home visits in Metro-West, Billerica, and neighboring communities, assessing customers' electrical needs.
  • Develop detailed scopes of work that meet customer expectations and adhere to industry standards.
  • Present installation options to customers, explaining the benefits and answering questions.
  • Use project management software to document job details and communicate effectively with the installation team.
  • Stay up-to-date on electrical codes and sales techniques through regular training.
  • Balance in-office responsibilities with fieldwork as needed.

Qualifications

  • Journeyman or Master Electrician License (required).
  • Strong experience in residential electrical work, including installations and troubleshooting.
  • Comprehensive understanding of electrical codes and practices.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
  • Sales experience is a plus but not mandatory training will be provided.
  • Clean driving record and ability to pass a background check, CORI, and drug screening.

Compensation & Benefits

  • Competitive salary starting at $70,000, with an earning potential of $100k - $130k annually through commissions.
