Pay Range: $23.00 - $28.00

Position Overview:

Delivers supplies or large equipment to job site locations and other delivery locations in accordance with an established schedule utilizing a company vehicle along with operates large equipment to support on-site and project needs.

Essential Duties:

  • Drives a company motor vehicle (CMV) 26,001 + pounds to customer businesses and residences to deliver materials or equipment according to established procedures.
  • Operates large equipment, including earth movers, excavators, and other equipment as needed.
  • Maintains and services large equipment, including minor equipment repairs as necessary.
  • Sets core delivery schedule including additional hours and potential schedule changes depending on the time of the year and peak seasons.
  • Interacts professionally with customers and the general public when delivering products and equipment to customers' site locations
  • Supports landscape operations as necessary.
  • Maintains a clean and safe work site including proper maintenance and care of all company equipment.
  • Promotes continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
  • Position may perform other duties as assigned.

Education, Knowledge and Experience:

  • Minimum of a high school diploma or GED; combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills, and abilities.
  • Class A CDL license preferred.

Skills and Qualification:

  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities/tasks.
  • Ability to interface with all types of mechanical and construction contractors.
  • Ability to problem solve and exhibit flexibility due to impacted routes and schedules.

Working Conditions:

  • Outdoor conditions.
  • Extended work hours during peak seasons.
  • Requires substantial physical activity performing strenuous activities of a productive and technical nature; regular exposure to outdoor weather conditions of extreme heat and extreme cold; consistent exposure to loud noise; potential exposure to air pollution, allergens, dust, pollen, insects, and other potentially harmful naturally occurring hazards; continuous exposure to moving mechanical parts and sharp objects.
