Job Description

Puyallup Dermatology has been serving the Puyallup Valley since 1990. We are a small, private, physician owned, one location practice that focuses on general medical and surgical dermatology. We have our own in-house Mohs lab and surgeon. We utilize both Physicians and Physician Assistants to serve our patients. Our focus is taking care of the needs of our patients and building long term relationships that they can trust.
We prioritize the comfort of our patients and providers in scheduling and our treatments. We are a collaborative and collegial group of providers, that love our work life balance, providing good compensation as well as support among colleagues with the freedom to practice as you deem appropriate for each patient.

We employ a great and robust support staff to every provider including clinical MAs, back office MAs, and dedicated scribes.

Puyallup is a town of 42,000 people in the Seattle/Tacoma suburban area. We boast good schools, safe neighborhoods, as well as proximity to cultural and outdoor activities. We are a short drive to Seattle or Tacoma with their robust arts, sports, and music events. World class skiing at Crystal Mountain Resort is a mere one hour away. You can reach Washington’s beautiful Pacific Coast in two hours. Seattle/Tacoma International Airport the largest airport in the Pacific Northwest with direct flights all over the country and internationally is 40 minutes away.

We pride ourselves on building strong, lasting relationships with our patients while delivering personalized, high-quality care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dermatologic services, including medical and surgical treatments, in a supportive and collaborative environment. Cosmetics is available, but not required. Our practice is equipped with a industry leading Sciton Halo and BBL Hero device and uses ModMed EMA for electronic medical records (EMR). We welcome both experienced dermatologists and new graduates. We would also consider a qualified part time Mohs/Part time General dermatology candidate.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide medical and surgical dermatology services, including biopsies, excisions, and treatment of skin cancers.
  • Build and maintain strong patient relationships through personalized care.
  • Efficiently manage patient records using ModMed EMA EMR system.
  • Provide compassionate and competent care.
  • Lead your team of Medical Assistants and Scribes.
  • Opportunity to read pathology is available.
  • Cosmetics is available, if desired, though not required.

Qualifications:

  • Board Certified/Board Eligible in Dermatology.
  • Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington State.
  • Strong surgical skills and medical dermatology knowledge.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on building long-term patient relationships.
  • Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
  • New graduates or experienced dermatologists are encouraged to apply.
