Expert Staffing West is seeking an experienced Grinder Operator for a leading manufacturer in the city of Chino, Ca.
2nd Shift: 2:00pm - 11:30pm
Pay DOE: $20 - $23
Our Grinder Operator will use grinding machines to produce finished parts and components from raw materials. This will involve setting up and operating the machines, ensuring that all safety protocols are observed, and inspecting the parts for accuracy. Having the ability to be responsible for maintaining the machines and performing basic repairs as required is a plus.
Duties/Responsibilities:
• Operate electric and air grinding equipment to shape various surfaces
• Operates drill press, hand drill, hand saw, and other tools to assist other operations
• Check grinding equipment for safe operation
• Set up, operate, and maintain grinding machines
• Select grinding wheels and other related tools
• Use grinding equipment to round corners, tighten edges, and smooth surfaces for cabinet doors, walls, frames, and small parts
• Assist in performing sheet metal fabrication work
• Operates drill press to ream tubes, hand drills to ream door handles, and makes holes in sheet metal
• Perform quality control checks on products
• Ensure that safety regulations are adhered to
• Clean and maintains work area
Education and Experience:
• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• 1-3 year of related experience.
