Overview:

We are seeking a meticulous and service-oriented Public Area Attendant to uphold the impeccable standards at InterContinental Bellevue at the Avenue. T his pivotal role involves ensuring the cleanliness and presentation of all public spaces within our hotel, maintaining our high standards of hospitality excellence. From lobbies to corridors, restrooms to meeting rooms, the Public Area Attendant will play a crucial part in creating a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests.

Every day is different, but you’ll mainly:

  • Maintain the cleanliness and presentation of all public areas within the property, including lobbies, lounges, and common spaces.
  • Execute daily cleaning routines with attention to detail, ensuring a pristine and inviting environment for our guests.
  • Monitor and replenish supplies in public areas, such as restrooms and seating areas, to enhance guest comfort.
  • Respond promptly to guest requests and inquiries, delivering exceptional service with a warm and welcoming demeanor.
  • Collaborate with the housekeeping team to coordinate tasks and ensure seamless operations.
  • Adhere to hygiene and safety standards, following established protocols for cleaning and sanitization.
  • Report maintenance issues or repairs needed in public areas to the appropriate department.
  • Support special events and functions by maintaining cleanliness before, during, and after scheduled activities.
  • Uphold the property's reputation for luxury and excellence through your commitment to maintaining a pristine environment.
Qualifications:

What we need from you: 

  • Previous Housekeeping experience preferred. 
  • Strong time management skills, attention to detail, and high responsiveness. 
  • Strong communication and customer service skills. 
  • Ability to lift boxes and other objects of up to 50 lbs. and carry them for up to 15 ft.
  • Ability to push/pull carts weighing up to 150 lbs. for up to 75 ft. 

The compensation for this position is $24.00/hour.
