Job Description
Description We are inviting applications for the position of IT Application Development Manager in the Real Estate & Property industry situated in San Diego, California. This role mainly involves managing enterprise applications, coordinating with software vendors, troubleshooting issues, and implementing new technologies.
Responsibilities
- Oversee the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, from gathering requirements to deployment, integration, and support.
- Coordinate with software vendors to manage contracts, ensure service level agreements (SLAs) are met, and handle any escalations.
- Lead application-related projects, including enhancements, integrations, and new implementations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for addressing application-related issues and provide support alongside the IT Helpdesk.
- Monitor application performance and user satisfaction, implementing improvements to optimize performance and reliability.
- Develop and deliver training programs and documentation for end-users to ensure effective utilization of applications.
- Ensure that applications comply with company policies, industry regulations, and security standards.
- Collaborate closely with business units to understand their needs and ensure alignment of applications with business requirements.
- Stay updated with emerging technologies and industry trends and recommend new technologies that can enhance application functionality and efficiency. Requirements - Minimum of 5 years' experience in a similar role within the Real Estate & Property industry.
- Proficiency in Cloud Technologies, including the ability to design, manage, and troubleshoot cloud-based infrastructures.
- Expertise in Content Management System (CMS), with the ability to create, edit, and manage digital content effectively.
- Experience in Contract Management, including the ability to negotiate, manage, and review contracts.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft applications and software, with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum methodologies, with a focus on leading and managing scrum teams.
- Experience in Auditing, with an emphasis on IT systems and processes.
- Knowledge of Best Practices in IT Application Development, with a focus on improving efficiency and productivity.
- Proficiency in Change Management, with the ability to manage and implement changes in IT processes and systems.
- Strong Coding skills, with the ability to write, test, and debug code effectively. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
