Summary

Foundations Academy is a private, non-profit Christian school in Port St. Lucie. We are seeking dedicated Elementary Teachers to join our team. The ideal candidates will have a passion for educating young minds and creating a positive learning environment. Our mission is to develop students in mind, body and spirit to honor God through excellence in academics and biblical integration in a safe and caring environment.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Provide individualized instruction to meet the diverse needs of students. Create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment conducive to learning. Assess student progress and adjust teaching strategies accordingly. Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and administrators to support student success. Manage classroom activities effectively while promoting positive behavior. Incorporate educational principles into teaching practices and foster development through creative and interactive teaching methods.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Education or related field; Master's degree is a plus. A valid teaching certification for elementary education. Proven experience in lesson planning and classroom management. Ability to create engaging lesson plans tailored to different learning styles. Excellent communication skills to interact with students, parents, and colleagues effectively. Proficiency in using technology for educational purposes.
