Salary: $161,050 - 183,400 per year Requirements:

• I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
• I have 72 months of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related field.
• My experience includes:
• - Enterprise Cloud infrastructure expertise, such as Cloud Foundry, PKS, GCP, Azure, or AWS.
• - Design, development, and management of DevOps solutions using GitLab or Azure DevOps (Git and CI/CD), Azure, Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF), Docker, Kubernetes (PKS), Azure Container Registry, JFrog Artifactory, HashiCorp Vault, Blue-Green Deployments, TeamCity, and Octopus Deploy.
• - Proficiency with industry-standard monitoring tools, including AppDynamics, Dynatrace, Splunk, ELK, FluentD, Prometheus, Kibana, Elasticsearch, Grafana, New Relic, and Thousand Eyes.
• - Administration of IaaS/PaaS services such as Virtual Machines, Cloud Foundry, Kubernetes (PKS), Nginx, SQL databases, and monitoring with autoscaling capabilities.
• - Familiarity with microservices architecture patterns, scalability and high availability principles, and web services technologies, including DNS, TCP/UDP, SOAP, JSON, or REST.
• - Experience in developing and coordinating operations utilizing key event streaming, messaging, and database services, including MongoDB, RabbitMQ/Kafka, MS SQL Server, Cloud SQL, BigTable, Cloud Spanner, or Cloud Pub/Sub.
• - Knowledge of modern development technologies and tools, including Agile, CI/CD, Git, Jira, Confluence, Harness, IBM Urban Code Deploy, and Build Forge.
• - Experience with certificate management tools like Venafi and security scan tools such as Black Duck, SonarQube, Fortify scan, Prisma, and Harbor.

• I will develop and manage tools for environment monitoring and task automation, identifying enhancements for application reliability and availability to improve user experience.
• I will analyze and implement efficient configurations for software, servers, database connections, indexes, and drivers.
• I will work collaboratively with development teams, as well as technical and non-technical partners, to maintain comprehensive knowledge of dependencies related to critical business transactions, encompassing platforms, services, and tools.
• I will monitor internal and vendor service level objectives (SLOs) and agreements (SLAs), identifying and addressing any gaps.
• I will act as a technical subject matter expert (SME) for cross-functional engineering teams and assist in troubleshooting and maintaining system-related issues.
• I will collaborate in sustaining services post-launch, measuring and monitoring availability, latency, and overall system health.
• I will develop runbooks and build automation, alongside creating and maintaining end-to-end monitoring dashboards for critical business transactions using tools like Thousand Eyes.
• I will practice sustainable incident response and facilitate blameless postmortems while documenting and promoting SRE standards and procedures.
• I will oversee the development and assistance in deployment and rollback automation, review release and deployment requirements, and establish automation tests.
• I will manage incident communication to affected stakeholders and mentor junior engineers and fellow practitioners.
