Seasonal Pool Supervisor (starts in May).

Role Description:

The Pool Supervisor is a seasonal position that will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of the Club’s pool food and beverage services while ensuring member and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Previous supervisor or lead role experience is necessary.
• Aged 21+ due to service of beer, wine and liquor.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Commitment to ensuring the satisfaction of members and guests.
• Ability to work throughout the week, weekends, and holidays during the summer season.

Job Knowledge, Core Competencies and Expectations:

• Clean appearance and professional demeanor.
• Ability to prepare and/or serve foods and beverages and supervise employees. 
• Ability to develop and maintain awareness of occupational hazards and safety precautions; skilled in following safety practices and recognizing hazards. 
• Maintains a high level of member contact throughout service hours. 

Job Tasks/Duties:

• Lead a team of service staff to ensure attentive service to members and guests using the pool.
• Provides food and beverage service according to club’s standards. 
• Maintains cleanliness of production and service equipment and of production, storeroom, service, and other areas. 
• Complies with applicable health, alcoholic beverage, fire and other laws and requirements. 
• Assists with the production and service of food and beverage products, as necessary. 
• Receives and resolves complaints applicable to the outlet. 
• Consistently complies with the club’s policies and procedures for the service of alcoholic beverages to members and guests. 
• Oversee daily pool operations, including opening and closing procedures keeping the pool area clean, organized, and welcoming.
• Enforce all safety protocols and regulations to guarantee a secure swimming environment. 
• Completes other appropriate assignments made by the Food and Beverage Director. 

Reports to: Assistant Food and Beverage Director, Food and Beverage Director 

Supervises: Pool service staff
