Key Responsibilities

• Help draft press releases, social media content, talking points, and other public-facing communications

• Support planning and coordination of events to maximize community visibility and participation

• Monitor media coverage and analyze public sentiment related to key campaigns

• Collaborate across marketing and communications teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

• Strong interest in social causes, community organizing, and media relations

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple projects

• A positive, proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and grow

• Coursework or experience in public relations, communications, marketing, or journalism is a plus, but not required
