Join Our Team as a Full-Time Pediatric Registered Dental Assistant

About Us: Located in Livermore, our renowned pediatric dental and orthodontic specialty office is known for excellence in care. Recently relocated to a spacious 5,700 sq ft. facility at Holmes Street and Concannon Blvd., The Well at Sunset Plaza, we've designed a state-of-the-art environment for comfortable and beautiful dentistry. Our practice is fully digital with paperless records and advanced digital radiography.

Position Overview: We are seeking a full-time Registered Dental Assistant who is passionate about pediatric dentistry and thrives in a collaborative, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, and a love for working with children.


Requirements:  

• Active California RDA license and coronal polishing certification.
• Preferably, two years of experience in pediatric dental care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and escort patients and parents.
• Update patient histories and note any changes.
• Perform prophylaxis and fluoride treatments.
• Take digital x-rays.
• Assist in general anesthesia cases.
• Communicate effectively with the doctor during patient visits.
• Document accurately in patient charts.
• Treat patients and parents with respect and empathy.
• Assist in restorative procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and support where needed.
• Create and explain treatment plans.
• Prepare treatment rooms and clean up.
• Educate patients and parents on proper dental care.
• Maintain stock and organize the office.

Preferred Skills:

• Detail-oriented and organized.
• Proficient in Eaglesoft and other computer applications.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Experience with digital x-rays.
• Quick learner with a patient-centered approach.
• Flexible and adaptable to changes.
