Job Description

-The Respiratory Therapist will travel to multiple nursing homes located in the Chicagoland area.
-Completes assessments and implements respiratory techniques to maintain and progress the rehab patients with many different Respiratory illness/diseases and non respiratory illness.
-Initiate therapies, maintain patient records, operate, check, and assemble equipment
-Complete a variety of bedside treatments
-Complete in-services for nursing staff every quarter
-Responsible for completing daily, weekly and monthly documentation
-Attend applicable IDT meetings
-Experience is a long term care setting
-Follow procedure and protocol of facility
-Completes tracking, auditing and caseload management
-Performs related duties as required
-Respiratory Therapist (RT) QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:
Licensed as RRT or CRT.
Licensed in the state in which practicing BLS certification.
