Salary: $3122 / Week Amergis Staffing iscurrently seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) for Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) assignmentsin Bakersfield, CA! Position Details: Contract Length: 13 weeks (+ability toextend) Number of Openings: 5 Start Date: 6/2 or within 3-4 weeks of offer Hours/Shifts/Schedules: 40 (4x10's) / Days (varying start times 5:30a, 6:30a, or 10am) or Nights (9p-7:30a) On-Call: Days - rotating / Nights - optional Setting: + Large teaching hospital Position Requirements: + Minimum 3 years of RN PACU experience + CA RN license + BLS, ACLS, and PALS (AHA), NIHSS Amergis Travel Advantages + Local office footprint in most major cities across the country + Premium pay rates with tax advantage compensation + Health/Dental/Vision Insurance available on 1 st of month + Weekly pay through direct deposit + Accessible via office phone, email, or text + Emergency, On-call line, available 24/7 Thepost-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse cares for patients who have under goneanesthesia. The post-anesthesia care Unit (PACU) nurse isresponsible for observing and treating a patient postoperation and making surethat they safely awake from anesthesia. The PACU nurse must monitor vitalsigns and levels of consciousness to make sure that the sedation is wearing offproperly, there are no adverse reactions occurring and patients are regainingconsciousness.
