Job Description

Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified V-Mill Operators to work ON-SITE with our customer in Osakis, MN

Essential Duties and Responsibilities - Other duties may be assigned. 

• Perform complex set up and operate mill, lathe and/or router to machine flat and formed parts to inch and metric specifications. 
• Read and interpret engineering drawings
• Measure and verify dimensions using inspections tooling 
• Perform deburring of parts 
• Maintain logs and other necessary documents 
• Complete routing and process planning as necessary 
• Design or assist in the design of tooling and fixtures
• Set up CNC Machine loading programs, tools, fixtures and setting tool offsets 
• Act as a technical resource 
• Perform 1st Article of Inspection 
• May oversee the work of others 
• Work independently with minimal supervision 

Here's what you'll get:

Duration: 12 months   

Shift: 2nd shift Monday-Thursday 3pm to 1am 

Pay Rate: $27-$32 an hour Depending on experience 

Job Requirements

Required Skills / Qualifications:

• Knowledge of Haas VF-3 machine tools 
• Emphasis on new part introduction and on-offs
• Strong troubleshooting and technical knowledge 
• Strong readthrough skills on CNC programs 
• Ability to manufacture parts from print 
• Detail oriented 
• Parts can have more than 150 dimensions
• 316 steel and C-22 materials 

Preferred Skills / Qualifications:

• 4-5 years of manufacturing or related work experience 
• AA degree or equivalent experience.
• Vocational or technical training
