Please be prepared to email your resume** **Job Description** We are seeking a dedicated Weekend Janitorial Specialist to maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all areas are clean, sanitary, and safe, following approved procedures and infection control plans. **Responsibilities** + Clean and dispose of trash following approved procedures and infection control plans. + Dust and damp mop floors, adhering to approved cleaning protocols. + Move equipment and furniture for thorough cleaning and return them to their original positions. + Clean assigned areas using designated materials and equipment. **Essential Skills** + At least 6 months of recent experience in janitorial or general labor roles. + Proficiency in basic cleaning of bathrooms, manufacturing floors, and common areas. + Must hold a valid driver's license. **Additional Skills & Qualifications** + No formal education requirements. **Why Work Here?** Employees will begin their journey with a 21-week contract, after which they will join the union, gaining access to health benefits and pay increases as outlined in the collective bargaining agreement. This role offers stability and the opportunity to work within a renowned manufacturing plant. **Work Environment** Work will be conducted on-site at a manufacturing plant in Fremont. Reporting will be to the shift supervisors with oversight from the head manager. The work schedule includes shifts on Saturday and Sunday: Day shift from 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Swing shift from 2:00 pm to 10:30 pm, and Grave shift from 10:00 pm to 6:30 am. **Job Type & Location** This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fremont, California. **Pay and Benefits** The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
